The 48-year-old Roberto Mancini who has been out of work ever since he got the sack at Manchester City earlier this summer, he insists he is in no rush to return to coaching and will wait for the right opportunity.
The former Inter boss has revealed his interest in Roma’s “project” but ruled out making an imminent return to Serie A.
“I am not yet ready to return to Serie A. I would like a few more experiences abroad first. La Liga or the Premier League, who knows… I am calm and awaiting what happens,” Mancini told Corriere dello Sport.
“There has never been direct contact with Roma. Roma are a great club, though, with a lot of prestige. They are building a team to start a new cycle and I cannot deny that it’s an interesting project. Never say never, I would always take an interesting offer into consideration.”
